The Cabinet Office has just published a Strategic Audit – a compendium of social and economic indicators covering a very wide range, all in 114 slides (you’re not alone Richard).  Lots of stuff, some of it from interesting angles, quite a few I found striking.

The prompt for this post came right at the end – immediate connection in my mind with Lara’s post on connecting with real people.  The slide which really hit me between the eyes was this one – click on the little picture to see a much bigger one.  If Lara is right about part of the problem, this is pretty clear evidence that the solution will be a little hard to come by.
